Meet Our People
Mark Robinson graduated from Syracuse University with a Masters degree in Social Work. He designed, developed, and implemented a successful fatherhood program while working at a community action agency in Syracuse, N.Y., before moving to Toledo, Ohio in 2004. He worked as a School-Based mental Health Clinician for several years. He is also the team captain of a local chapter of All Pro Dad which he has implemented at Lincoln Academy for Boys. His passion for fathers shines through as he established RESTORE Inc. in 2006, a faith based non-profit organization for restoring fathers back to the head of the family through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He co-founded the Northcoast Fatherhood Collaborative, and was the Assistant Director of the Northcoast Fatherhood Initiative. He worked as the Executive Director for Toledo Area Ministries (TAM) in Toledo, Ohio. He was Director of Field Education and Instructor at Lourdes University Department of Social Work in Sylvania, Ohio, and is currently the Manager of Recovery Service for the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County. He has authored a faith-based curriculum for restoring fathers back to the head of the family titled, Restoration of Fathers: Restoring Fathers to Their Original Purpose and Position, as well as a motivational book entitled "Ingredients": A collection of motivational ingredients and quotes to facilitate your every success in life. He has also presented at national conferences on, “Gods Blueprint for Successful Fatherhood”, and "The Importance of Engaging Fathers in Social Work Practice" He serves on various boards, (including theOhio Practitioners Network for Fathers and Families (OPNFF), which is a statewide collaboration that seeks to advance a fatherhood and family agenda at the state and local level), task forces, and committees in the Toledo, Ohio area. He also received the "Fatherhood Heroes" award from the White House.
